Leg 2, Day 7: Blog by Charles Caudrelier

Charles Caudrelier talks about his trip to the bakery, Jack's magic potion and the Transat Jacques Vabre.

We are approaching the Doldrums at high speed.

Stu is preparing a magic potion for our rookie Jack Bouttell. The kiwis like the tradition and for his first passage Jack will not escape it. Video to come soon when we cross the equator.

We are also trying to follow the French race, the Transat Jacques Vabre, specifically the multihull and the new GITANA. They passed us yesterday. On that note, I think this is a good personal message to the Volvo Ocean Race. The Volvo Ocean Rce is the best offshore race in the world and the multihulls are the best boats in the world. I hope and wish that one day we will race the best race on these magic boats. If you love cars you dream about a Volvo and if you love fast boats you want a multihull…
