What do you like to do when not working with VOR? Cycling and snow skiing.

Greatest achievement? Making it to 60.

Who inspires you? Anyone who just won’t quit and succeeds against all the odds.

What was the best advice you were ever given? Trust your instincts.

If you could wake up tomorrow in the body of someone else, who would you pick and what would you do? I don’t really aspire to be anyone else, however, as a small child I always wanted to be Superman who is “able to leap tall buildings in a single bound”.

If you were an animal, what would you be? A wombat.

What makes you happy? Happiness is all about wide open spaces and solitude.

What makes you angry? When people don’t give 100%.

What do you want to be remembered or known for? For being a loyal friend to my friends.

What is the single thing that you miss the most when at sea? Proper food.

What food or drink do you miss the most when you are at sea? Wine and a good steak.

What item do you always take with you when sailing? My good luck charm.

Tell us something about yourself that we didn’t know? I hold the unofficial record for sleeping in the shower…........ 11.5 hours, fast asleep, in a hot shower.
